ESTIMATE EXAMPLES
Here are a few samples of estimates that I have created recently. I have prepared more than $100 million dollars worth of estimates in the last 10 years. I have worked on hundreds of fire, water, and storm claims and over the last 4 years I have been able to maintain an average profit margin of around 40% over the course of several hundred jobs. Please feel free to contact me with any questions that you may have.
This was an All-State claim for a full house re-build due to damage from a tornado. I originally negotiated the claim to the max at $298,000. After the job was complete we went after the policy override and was able to end up a little over $370,000 and at a 41% profit margin, which any of you know is pretty good for All-State
This was an whole house fire that resulted in the house being torn down to the foundation. At the start of negotiations with Farmers Insurance Company they were at about $150,000. This claim ended up at over $225,000 with supplements and finished up at a profit margin in the mid 40's
House FireThis was an whole fire that resulted in the need for both the house and foundation to be removed. The claim was brought up over $100,000.
House FireThis claim resulted in the full gut and rebuild of both the interior and exterior of the residence. The policy limit was $197,000 and with working with the adjuster on the different coverages the claim ended up at total of $246,500
July 2009 House FireThis claim was a partial gut and required the demo and rebuilding of half the roof. I was working with an adjuster I had before, and he let me write the estimate and just e-mail over the ESX file. He uploaded it, put his logo on it and just sent it back. It only took 3 days to get an agreed price on a claim that was over $170,000.
Water DamageThis was an American Family claim on an apartment building. Worked with the adjuster and was able to send him a ESX to upload and we worked off of that. This claim resulted in a profit margin close to 50%
Typical Hail ClaimThis is an example of a typical hail claim. I have been able to average over a 40% profit margin on over 500 of these type of jobs the last few years
